Alex Yau (Senior Unit Manager)

I have joined the Alpha family for 25 years and I can be regarded as one of the regional leaders. I am grateful to be nurtured by my mentor Frankie as he always teaches us to serve our clients with integrity and professional know-how in the insurance and financial sector.

The spirit of insurance is not only to secure against the unexpected happening, but also to provide an assurance for our loved ones to continue to live with dignity.

I believe an ideal career should consist of the following elements:

  2. Happiness
  3. Being meaningful

After years of effort and hard work in the Alpha area, I have become a life member of MDRT and have built up my own professional sales team. In addition, I have also become one of the Top Ten Unit Managers of AIA Hong Kong.

I have been following Frankie’s 4L philosophy: To Live, To Learn, To Love and To Leave a legacy. I also adopt the all-rounded development concept of MDRT to encourage my team members to pursue a more balanced and meaningful life. This includes seven aspects: health, family, religion, education, finance, social services and professionalism.

I am pleased, because my team and I always strive for progress!

Michael Lau (Unit Manager)

I am from Yunnan Province and I have a happy and harmonious family. After graduating from university in Shenzhen, I worked for a large construction company for eight years. It was during this time that I met my wife Vickie and we eventually settled in Hong Kong. I received my MBA degree in 2010 and subsequently I joined AIA, the leader in the insurance field.

I firmly believe the proverb that “hard work brings rewards”. With the encouragement from my mentor, Mr. Frankie Yeung, and the support from my clients and family, my team and I are very motivated to strive for excellent performance. I captured the title of AIA’s Top 5 New Unit Managers in 2014. Our team members are all from the mainland and we share the same cultural background. This enables us to interact and mingle with each other better. This also creates a friendly environment for new colleagues to fit in. If you share the same aspiration and ideals for a successful future, you are very welcome to join my team and become part of the Alpha family.

Dr. Zhifeng Lai (Unit Manager)

Dr. Zhifeng Lai (Ph.D. in Computer Science, HKUST, MDRT 2014-2018): I joined Alpha Family in 2011 immediately after I got my PhD degree from HKUST. In this big family, I learnt professional knowledge in financial planning, successful habits of visionary enterprise, care and commitment to the society. I deeply believe that financial planning is a commitment to our beloved ones and the truest expression of love. With my clients’ interests at heart, I provide the most suitable financial advice and solutions to my clients, using my sensitivity to numbers and my specialty in engineering analytics. I devote myself in building up professional wealth management team, which provides one-stop medical insurance and wealth added services to mainland and Hong Kong professionals, civil servants, business owners, and other high-end customers. I am dedicated to build up a team to develop long-term relationships with customers with professionalism and integrity, and take care of customers’ all-round protection and financial needs at different stages of life.
